1990 Mustang LX
This Mustang was rescued from Texas from another owner with hopes of restoration that was in a bit over his head. You could call the ‘stang a “basket case” when it was delivered to S&S. The unfinished project car was received in pieces with fenders, hood, and bumpers in the vehicle where an interior should have been.
We started by stripping the car down and rebuilding from the ground up. First the suspension was replaced with all upgraded parts. The brake system was borrowed from a 2004 Mustang Cobra and customized to fit. S&S rebuilt a 306 Ford engine with ported aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake manifold, Paxton supercharger, headers, and 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust.
The interior was also completely redone with new seats, door panels, carpet, and headliner all completed in house. As a finishing touch the Mustang took Sonic Blue Ford paint and black 18 inch Saleen Wheels wrapped in Nitto Drag Radials.
